IQUW to launch Crisis Management product in 2022

Property, Commercial and Speciality (re)insurer IQUW has today confirmed it will launch a new Crisis Management product in 2022, led by incoming Lead Underwriter, Jon Atkinson, who will join IQUW from Talbot in April 2022.

Initially, the product will primarily provide Specialty Product Recall cover globally including product contamination, component part recall liability and first party recall, before expanding into wider product covers. The launch continues to deliver IQUW’s strategy to build a multi-line, diverse product portfolio, having significantly enhanced their product suite in the last year.

Atkinson joins IQUW having spent 11 years at Talbot developing their Crisis Management capabilities to become a lead market, having previously spent three years at Hiscox.

IQUW Group CEO, Peter Bilsby added: “As we continue to execute on our strategy to build a diverse, multi-line portfolio, we will continue to expand our product suite to cover a greater range of Specialty products. Jon joins IQUW with a huge amount of experience and I am thrilled that he will lead our Crisis Management portfolio, developing it alongside our digital vision”.
