Steven Tebbutt announced as IQUW Active Underwriter

Property, Commercial and Specialty (re)insurer IQUW has today announced the appointment of Steven Tebbutt as IQUW Active Underwriter, syndicate 1856, subject to regulatory approval.

Tebbutt joined IQUW in 2021, working alongside Chris Wilkinson to lead the firm’s Specialty team and oversee the build out of the syndicate as it developed into a diverse multi-line (re)insurer. Tebbutt will report into David Morris, IQUW Group Chief Underwriter Officer, Insurance.

Tebbutt’s appointment will see a move for David Message who has been IQUW’s interim Active Underwriter since the acquisition of Arcus 1856 in 2020. Message will become IQUW’s Energy Lead Underwriter with immediate effect.
