IQUW bolsters lead capability with Randle appointment

IQUW is pleased to announce the appointment of Keith Randle as its new Wording and Coverage Lead, marking a key strategic hire that strengthens IQUW’s lead market and primary propositions across liability lines.

Randle has over 35 years’ experience in the (re)insurance industry, including over 20 years’ coverage experience at a global financial lines insurer. He joins IQUW from Miller, where he was instrumental in shaping their Directors & Officers primary product suite, while also supporting broader portfolios including Cyber and Financial Institutions.

In his new role at IQUW, Randle will work closely with underwriting and claims teams across lines of business that have liability exposure, including D&O, FI, Cyber, PVT, Crisis Management, Energy, Marine Liabilities, Portfolio Solutions and Specialty Re, advising on wording and coverage enhancements and supporting the team in the development of new and refinement of existing products. Randle will report directly to Gary Lill, Head of Professional Lines, IQUW.

The appointment reinforces IQUW’s strategy to develop its underwriting leadership capabilities. By introducing a dedicated in-house resource for wording and coverage, IQUW gives its underwriting teams the technical confidence and support they need to compete in lead and primary markets.

Gary Lill commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Keith to the IQUW team. His technical experience and track record across liability lines will be a strong complement to our underwriting and claims functions. As we continue to push forward and lead more business, having a dedicated, internal expert in wording and coverage is a clear differentiator and will enhance our value proposition to brokers and supports our ambition to deliver consistent, high-quality specialty capacity.” Keith Randle added: “IQUW is well recognised in the specialty market with its data-driven approach and nimble underwriting proposition. I’m excited to join the team and help IQUW strengthen its liability lines. My focus will be on ensuring that our coverage language is robust, clear, and aligned with evolving market dynamics, while ensuring seamless collaboration between underwriting and claims.”
